The Coffee School’s Waiting Skills Course will give you the edge over other wait staff because many venues only employ servers with established skills. These venues rely on return clientele regardless of their menu or dress code. With waiting, barista and bar skills, you can work in all areas of a venue; these skills will endear you to any potential employer.

Assessment
Coffee School by CHT usually uses competency-based assessments through which you demonstrate that your acquired skills and knowledge meet nationally recognised standards. However, since this is a non-accredited course, there is no assessment.
Course Duration
One day, or two nights in our Sydney training facility.
Daytime (1 day): 9:00am – 3.30pm
or
Evening (2 nights): 6.30pm – 9.30pm
Certification
This is a non-accredited course, so participants only receive a Certificate of Participation once they have completed it.
Entrance Requirements / Pre-requisites
There are no pre-requisites for this course. However, at the course start date, learners must be at least 16 years old.
How to Enrol
Enrolment for our Brisbane Waiting Skills course involves four simple steps:
- Choose a date from the course timetable.
- Fill in your personal details in the space provided.
- Pay for the course using a credit or debit card.
- Wait for an email confirming your booking and complete the full enrolment form. This form must be completed before your course starts.
