Course Details

The Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) Certificate is a requirement if you are to be serving patrons where gambling and poker machines are on premises. Having your RCG certificate permits you to work anywhere in NSW where gaming services are provided. This includes:

  • Pubs, clubs and hotels with poker machines
  • All gaming in casinos
  • Sports gambling venues such as horse-racing, greyhound racing and football

Our trainers will mark your assessments in class online as you complete your modules.

4 hours

Certification

Learners who succesfully complete this course will be issued with the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit:

SITHGAM001 - Provide responsible gambling services

To obtain the RCG Competency Card you need to take the interim RCG Certificate to a Registered Services NSW Office to apply.

There are no pre-requisite units for this course.

    My 14-year-old son has just done the barista course with CHT. He has some learning difficulties and doesn't love school. These guys gave him the best classroom experience he's ever had in his life. He was fully engrossed in it for two whole days and now wants to make coffees all day at home.     I’ve completed a number of courses at CHT over the years and each time I go back I’ve had a great experience. It’s the perfect environment for developing new skills as it has a fully equipped bar, restaurant and coffee making studio.     The course was great! I had some idea of how to make a coffee (or so I thought) made very clear different types of coffees, regional variants a short history of the origin of coffee and what goes into a bean. Best type and time to use bean and some brief tasting notes, Importance of the grind size (super important) and how to read a coffee machine to identify why or what is going on or wrong with any coffee at any given time. I came from the course with a full confidence on making any coffee from start of day to proper cleaning procedures and upkeep of the machine at the end with improved knowledge of how to trouble shoot myself which I previously lacked. The teacher was nothing short of a master of his trade and had clearly been in the coffee game for many years. I Recommend this highly for beginners or skilled workers who are looking to refine their skills. Great day!
