Course Details

If you find yourself in a role that requires any sort of food handling, then you will need to know the best practices to prevent food contamination.

Food hazards aren't always obvious, so it's important to learn how to identify and control the threats.

It is a legal requipment for all food handlers to comply with the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. This course will give you the knowledge and certification to satisfy those requirments.

Assessment

Learners will be assessed at the end of the classroom session. Coffee School by CHT uses competency-based assessments through which you demonstrate that your acquired skills and knowledge meet nationally recognised standards. If a student is unable to achieve competence the first time, they can repeat the course until they are competent.

Course Duration

Half Day (3 hours)

Certification

Learners who succesfully complete this course will be issued with the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the units:
